Topic: A Night in the Life of a Mobile Analyst: Part 1 Speaker: Elizabethe Kramer from CareWorks Technologies Summary For several years, Kramer has given a presentation called A Day in the Life of an Agile Analyst. The September meeting presentation moves to the next level of analysis by dropping you into the early stages of a new mobile app, currently being built by CareWorks Technologies. As you’ll soon see, this journey is more like a night in the life of a Mobile Analyst. For several reasons, Kramer’s team gave the typical app development process a twist and is now seeing and doing things no one would have expected when the project first began. Not surprisingly, the Mobile Analyst for this real-life app plays a critical role in bringing it to life. So even if you are not involved in mobile strategies, you may see some things you didn’t expect. Because we’re still going through the process ourselves, chances are we will all learn some new things we can use somewhere in our work. Speaker Bio Elizabethe Kramer, known simply as Kramer by her teams and customers, is the Vice President of 3D Agile and Mobile for CareWorks Technologies in Dublin. Having just joined CareWorks Technologies in July, she is rapidly launching Agile and mobile strategies for companies anxious to move beyond the typical surface-skimming of hot trends and technologies. For Agile, this means teaching business professionals how to run non-IT Agile projects. For mobile, it means rippling mobile Web strategies out through an organization’s other customer experiences. Previously, as a consultant, Kramer was the Senior Agile Coach Practitioner in Nationwide’s Application Development Center, standing up new teams and coaching them in Agile methods and cadence. She has some awareness of what’s important to analysts, having been an early, early Agile analyst, and later, a builder and leader of Agile analysis practices at Pfizer in Connecticut, North Shore in Chicago, and Cintas in Cincinnati, among others. Starting off in this business as a writer, Kramer formed the content part of the creative team for high-tech marketing campaigns at IBM, Sterling Commerce, and Sun Microsystems, to name a few. A Columbus native, Kramer has lived in Athens, Ohio, for eleven years, but is on her way back here now that she has joined the CareWorks Family of Companies. |
